The Biggest Ally Week in UW History!

The Second Annual UW Ally Week will be during the week of January 22-26 this year.

Ally Week Is...

...a week long series of events that promotes awareness about what it means to be an ally to LGBT/Queer people, people of color, and people with disabilities. This series of events strongly encourages action and connection among allies (organizations and individuals who provide support and resources to these communities). This year the sponsors of this amazing event are The ASUW GBLTC, The Q Center, The Ethnic Cultural Center/ Theater, The ASUW Joint Commission Committee, The Queer/ Straight Alliance, and Housing and Food Services.

Friday January 19 - Tabeling on the HUB Lawn
Monday January 22 - Tabling on the HUB Lawn
Tuesday January 23 - Passport to Support the Journey to Being an Ally
*Mary Gates Hall Commons from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Wednesday January 24 - WAC Spoken Word Event
Thursday January 25 - How to be a Trans Ally
Friday January 26 - Ally Week Social and Dance
*North Husky Den from 6:00pm to 10:30pm
